Field of
Dreams 2005-2006 If you build it, they will
come….. Saint Joseph High School, the YMCA, and
Tri-State Baseball Association, Inc. have formed a partnership to
build their own “Field of Dreams” at
the YMCA Kennedy Center on Ohio River
Road. This partnership
is a win-win proposal for the Tri-State Area.
Located in a rapidly growing area of Cabell County, this baseball field
will provide and serve our community as a home field for Saint Joseph’s high
school baseball team; outdoor facility for summer camps and baseball/softball
programs for the YMCA; and home field for TSBA’s summer traveling baseball
team, proposed site for NABF Regional Tournament, field for showcases and
camps, and potential host field for Pepsi’s Pitch, Hit, & Run Skills meet. Our
total cost for the project is estimated to be $80,000 which we believe is
obtainable given the potential benefit and economic impact of the proposal. We
trust we can generate a broad base of support from our entire community -
individual and corporate sponsors. This
facility is within one-half mile of the Merricks Creek connector to I-64 and is
visible from Route 2. Annually 20,000 people utilize the Kennedy Center and
provide a tremendous potential for advertising, and the traffic in that area
will only increase.. I would
like to ask your company to be a Charter Advertiser at this field. Permanent (4’ x 8’ ) advertising signs are
being offered for $5,000. Your company
would be featured in all press releases, promotional events, and website
advertising. Keep in mind that over
1,100 youth families come to the Kennedy Center each weekend and your sign
would be visible by all visitors to the Kennedy Center. Please
review this information. Call any of us
at your earliest convenience to discuss our proposal. The youth of this area
thank you very much for considering this advertising proposal. Very
truly yours, Tim A Adkins Phone: (304)634-1653 Email: taa23@aol.com George Smailes Phone: (304)525-8127 Tom Houvouras Phone: (304)522-0381 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
